Fresh Apples

I had enough ingredients to make one more batch of soap (just one more batch, and I only just made it, it was touch and go on the castor oil, but I managed to squeeze out the last few grams) so i decided to use an FO that I had bought but never used. It's called Granny Smith and has a lovely fresh apple scent, but citrusy too, and fresh, just lovely.

So, using some TD and Forest Green soap dye, did something a bit different. It's mostly green and instead of doing a layer with the TD, I poured the white from different heights etc, but then after pouring, I decided to swirl it in the pot with a big spoon. So goodness knows how it will turn out but I'm so looking forward to taking a sneaky slice of this tomorrow.

Love, love the colours and I'm looking forward to seeing the cut bars. I have an Apple Streusel scent that's more of a warm apple pie smell. This sounds clean and fresh.

Thanks girls. I am looking forward to cutting the bars too, it's taken me all my effort not to slice the end off already for a sneaky peak.

Twoblooms - your Apple Streusel sounds like my Apple & Cinnamon, a very warm scent, it's nice too xx
